Meet Our Founder
Jack Waldsmith is the Founder and CEO of Ramsay Land Company. Jack brings more than a dozen years of experience in the institutional private Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) industry, with expertise in acquisitions and development. Jack has led $1.5B of investment transactions, $250M of construction development, and management of 3.0M square feet of properties.
Jack oversaw investment acquisitions and management across California for Swift Real Estate Partners, a real estate private equity platform with more than $3.5B of assets under management. Prior to Swift, he led financial statement audits for REITs and other investment vehicles while at PwC and holds inactive distinction as a Certified Public Accountant.
Jack is a third-generation resident of the San Francisco Peninsula, where he lives with his wife, Gretchen, and their two children. He is a Local Champion Circle leadership member for Jumpstart Kids, a national early education non-profit that he has served for twelve years. Jack is a contributing member of Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.
